Still life paintings based on photographs help me settle down and free myself from the daily hustle and bustle. It’s an open series that I tend to return to from time to time. The painting process brings small changes and corrections to the original photographic design, so that the painting gradually develops into its own authentic story. The painted shapes are taken out of their original context, becoming almost abstract forms and acquiring new mutual connections.
